Your data, in plain words
What we collect
Your email, broad background details (age range, not your exact age; gender; country/state; student status; tech comfort) and your answers about one bot experience. Screenshots are optional.
What is public
Only combined numbers. We never show emails, exact ages, screenshots or your raw words. Quotes appear only after our team approves an AI-redacted version with names, numbers and addresses removed. Group results (for example by age) are hidden until a group has at least 5 different people. If you opt in as a Founding Contributor, only the display name you chose is shown.
How it's stored
Your email is kept in a separate, team-only place from your answers. Only the research team can see raw responses. We don't sell or share data, and there are no ads or trackers. To see where people stop in the survey, we count which step was reached — never what you typed.
